"Oaks Organics" was established September, 2001 by Peter and Julie Clinch to supply open-range meat chickens and eggs. We also grow organic poll-hereford beef cattle
The farm is located at The Oaks which is approximately 70km from Sydney. The eggs, chicken, turkeys and cattle are AusQual certified #AQ610108. The eggs are classified A-Grade by Safe Food.
Once packaged, the meat and chicken are now 'from certified organic product' as we are no longer paying for the abattoirs and butcher to be certified. We do, however, maintain the same high level of handling and packaging.
Both the meat chickens and layer hens are fed a soy-free certified organic ration supplied by Country Heritage Feeds.
Organic blackberries and bay leaves are also produced on the farm and are similarly Aus Qual certified.
